Ha, you mean the 'Open Touring' car, it's a German brochure, they call it 'Offener Tourenwagen'.

Very cool, and interesting to see the old, "art" style covers. I believe img-0367 was used on the cover of J Mehles book on the SSK's (don't remember if it was book 1 or book 2). Traveling now, so unable to check.

Hi Ger,

Many thanks for sharing your brochures, it would be interesting to know how you came by them and how long you / your family has had them.
Below are some pages from the sales book that origonally came with our 280SL
If you can read it you will notice a slight error on the spec sheet, maximum speed 200 MPH
If you send me your PM I could scan all pages and forward to you, but I gues you already have material on the W113

Thanks again

Treedoc

Hello Treedoc, I collect the brochures for more than 30 years now so I have alot of them, I think they made a little mistake with the 200 mph, it should be 200 km/u. Thanks for your offer to scan the pages from the W113 brochure but as you already guessed, I have them all.

Greetings: Ger.

Absolutely beautiful brochures  - Thank you for sharing.

Something I've never seen before - 190sl Funkstreifenwagon Radio car – max speed of 112 MPH - how many minutes would that take?

Here a little brochure for the International Motor Exhibition Olympia London of 1934, not in the best condition but maybe that gives extra charm to it.
