Stuck Softtop

Help!!

I was already to take my pagoda with me on 5 days holiday when I went to drop the softtop.  All was normal until I noticed the frame was not sitting as low as it should be so I raised the frame in order to start the process again.  But the back of the frame stayed in the recess as I raised the front.  Now the frame will not fold back nor can I get the rear frame from out of the recess (The hinges of the softcover will prevent it comming out.)

Does anyone have suggestions? I had to take my other car on the holiday and will try to post images when I get back home in 3 days..
