Door Chrome

Does anyone have any instructions for the installation of the Chrome piece on the outside top of the door? After getting the car painted, the reinstallation of this piece is not intuitive for me.

Daryl,
first install the narrower four (or 5?) metal clips on the outside rail (wider ones go on the inside rail) and then press the lip of the chrome trim over the clip. It kind of "hangs" on the clip.
Good luck!

Hello, Darryl,

There is also a second clip that fits in the chrome strip.

Have a look at this discussion:

Thank you so much.....I knew I was missing something simple and fundimental. I should have taken more pictures when I disassembled it. It has been since March when I took it apart for paint and most things I remeber but I drew a blank on this. This chrome will be installed today
