Title: sunvisor retainingscrew
Post by: pablo_o2 on October 02, 2009, 16:11:12
After restoring my sunvisors and installing them again I noticed they don't stay in the upward position anymore. I think it has to do with the screw just next to the bended fixed mounting part. (sorry for the poor description). Can someone tell me what screw I have to use to put more tension around the shaft and so hold the visor upward. The foto shows what I mean (just as an example it is not my sunvisor)

Tightening that screw on the left does not fix it? It did with me...

That's  just the problem Peter, the screw isn't there anymore!! So my question is: what type of screw do I need. I know the location where to put it but is it a parker screw, pointed, not pointed, diameter etc...thanks
