Hi Kenji,

I'll bet your car is very rare in Japan.  I can't tell if you have the MB transistorized ignition module.  Attached you will find a wiring diagram for the ballast resistors with and without that system.  Hope they are what you need.

I thank your advice.
I understood.
I have the MB transistorized ignition module

Jeff,

time to add these diagrams to the Technical Manual in the right place? If you do, for layout purposes it is better if you remove the red and black border!

The green code of No. 2.
Please see the following figure.
It has connected with a coil.
However, my code is too long.
Please let me know where it connects.

Hello, Kenji,

The Green wire from the Transistorised Ignition box connects to the distributor points.

Hope the pictures will help to clarify.

I believe the green wire from the distributor goes to a 2 lug connector under the battery tray.  From there it goes to the transistorized ignition as Naj indicates.

I think that the line of a distributor's green is differed from.
Please see a figure.
It connects with NO4 of a speed relay.
I am sorry to be poor at English.

MB documentation on the emissions system and transistorized ignition system is not very good.  You can find documentation on one or the other but it is no diagram with them integrated.  I just finished this diagram to note the pin outs and wiring for the speed relay.  I put a note to indicate this wire goes to the coil or transistorized ignition.    The wire from pin 4 of the speed relay does in fact end up connected to pin 7 of the transistorized ignition box.  As I said before it terminates at a 2 lug screw type connector under the battery tray.  If there is not transistorized ignition system that wire goes to the positive side of the coil.

Naj's diagram shows this wire with a dotted line next to it.  The dotted line is the ground shield for the rpm signal from the ignition box to the speed relay.  This is the signal the speed relay needs to do on off swiotching of the two way valve at preset rpm levels.

Kenji,

By the way my daughter lived in Wakayama for two years and she twice visited Hiroshima.
