Title: Second Opinion - Thermo Time Switch

I am just looking for a second opinion ref my Thermo Time Switch I have just received.
The original one I have has a 2 wire attachment.
The one I received only has one wire attachment.
I was told to hook the power up to the Thermo Time Switch and place the ground wire
to ground.
Question. Would that work?

Just want to say thanks and that it is great to have a place were one is able get a second opinion.
