Title: Parts for Manual Shift 280SL

The shifter on my 280SL dropped down and through this site I found out what to do. I found a vendor for all the bushings but cannot find one that carries the rubber seal boot for the bottom of the shifter arm. The part number is 111-268-0797. Can anyone recommend a vendor that carries this item? Thanks.

Hi--

Are you sure that this boot is required.

I got one for my 230SL at K&K, but they told me it wasn't really required.

Their catalogue shows the rubber boot applies only to the 230SL.

You can buy it direct from MB or the classic center for under $10.  Most of the mechanical parts are still available from MB
