i am looking for owners who had 280sl with 5 speed zf s5-20  i have seen mister Epstein matthew have one near my chassisnumber. Sorry my English is not very good.regards Kneer gerd

One more, nice, one person said to me for the 280sl with 5 speed was build 162 pieces (Stück) i dont know if thats right my car is an 280sl  1/1968  113 044 10  000077 siver with black leder. i want make to find all 5 speeds 280 to registraction this with chassisnumber year and Photos if you want can you send this information to diekneers@t-online.de             regards Kneer Gerd

Mine has the zf 5 speed, but it is NOT original to the car.  It was retrofitted by a previous owner in 1999.  I have the service invoice.  I love the 5-speed! I have a '69 280 SL. USA version.  Originally with 4-speed trans.
