Title: Strange parts

Hi all ,

When cleaning my fueltank i noticed a rumble in my tank , and after a lot of shaking a few strange parts fell out ..
Anybody know what these are and what there for ?

Hey Rick,

sure!   :D

These are parts of your old fuel filler cap. Look at your present one (if you have an MB original 000 471 2030), then you see where they go.
 ;) :D

Hi Achim ,

Thanks , still think it's strange do . I have a original MB fuel cap with lock .....and there's nothing missing on that one.
But Dan again could be from the old one .

Yes Rick, sure.
I was typing slowlier than I was thinking about this. :o
Surely these are the parts of your (i.e. the car's) previous fuel filler cap.
Just keep them for spares.
 ;)
