Title: Color of power steering reservoir?
Post by: gorgoo on March 25, 2011, 21:59:16
Hi there,

I've seen pictures of engine bay where the steering fluid reservoir is black, but on my car it's light green, and it seem to be  the only paint that's ever been on it. Which color are yours?
thanks
Didier.

Black is what it should be. I believe there is a light green primer under the black topcoat.

Black with a black cover, silver holder and wing nut.  I've seen incorrect chrome covers.

Ok, thank you.
I probably have a replacement part that has been deluvered only in primer. Actually, it looks very much like electrodeposed paint. Chrome is not my taste, it'll have a black topcoat along with the rest of under hood furniture.

Yes: Satin black.  Don't throw out that Norma clamp. Just wire brush it and clear coat it.  They are no longer available.
