Title: Interior Mirror

Is there any way to have the glass renewed on mirrors?  Mine has a cloudy look since the reflective tint is deteriorated.

Not sure about renewal, but I have seen the mirror part up on ebay from time to time. I would also suspect you could go to a local glass shop and get one cut to the exact size.

Yes i have put a new mirrorglass in! It is very simple
to do.Buy a new glass on Ebay or at your local MB store.

I haven't seen one on eBay for a few years.  I checked with the classic center an they don't have the glass.  I'll keep looking.  I think the original has a blue tint like the outside one but I'm not sure.  I suspect the glass shop would have quite a bit of work to make it fit.

Brad, one of the members here (w113dude) use to have replacement mirrors.  Check out http://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=11509.0.  He may still have them.  I also need one now that you mention it. ;D

I think I bought mine from Scoot. Shipped across the Atlantic with no problems and good instructions to fit

I got the new mirror glass from w113dude.  Today I took apart my mirror and it was not deteriorated at all.  I wiped of the mirror and it was in perfect original clear condition.  It was just dirty between the glass and the mirror.  Sooo... now I have a mirror glass spare.  It is correct for my mirror if I ever need it.  I have a spare chrome mirror that needs new glass possibly so I my put it in after I polish it up a bit...   Some things are just easier than they appear...
