Sure hope that trunk/boot lid didn't get dented from her derrière sitting on it! Cringe! Can't imagine why anyone would let their car be loaned out for this?

Reckon it's a very bony rear, but also very very few PSI!

My daughter pointed this one out in the current issue of Harper's Bazaar. 230SL. This photo is poor quality but, the car looks a little beat up.

That Harper's Bazaar girl has more paint on her eyes than I do on my car (lol).

Something looks odd about the gas cap as well. Appears to be sunken into the back of the car.

Pagodas seem to be all the rage on the fashion pages these days.  What appears to be a 250SL (?) is pictured on a couple of pages of the spring Brooks Brothers catelogue.

Car?  what car - is there really a picture of a car in those pictures??  ::)

Seriously, the 113 is a natural choice as it is has so many sexy details that other cars just can't match.  What other car has such a nice inside edge of a door with chrome pieces all shiny, neat and tidy.

And when you get inside.....aaah that's just heavenly.

The woman in the second picture is certainly beautiful however...if I walked up to my 280SL and she were sitting on the trunk, I'd say "get the @#%* off my car!"......pretty please!  ;D

I must be getting way too old. Some would have asked how much  ::)

I thought they were advertising a brothel with the name Juicy Coutour. :o :o :o    It makes sense with sexy cars and females trying to look wonton

Did not quite see the connection between females trying to look like that and hanging over cars, sitting on cars, or sitting in gutters etc.  Would only appeal to males most of who I assume don't buy womens cloths, or are they trying to appeal to that section of the community? ;) ;)

To continue the theme... I saw this is Spitalfields market this morning (Spitalfields is a bit of an edgy market right on the edge of the City of London (near Petticoat lane/Brick Lane))

Ex-US 1969 280 that's claerly seen far better days and has been "on display" (under the old market roof) for some time

Tosh

My London flat is near Spitalfields market and every time I walk past this poor Pagoda I feel the pain. It is a bit like looking at a tiger pacing around an enclosure in the zoo; although I don't know that this particular "tiger" will ever move again. At least they put a dust cover over the car when the shop closes in the evening.

I never wanted to post this poor creature on the "when did you last see a pagoda" thread in case of upsetting the more sensitive reader.

Should we campaign for its freedom? It might make a good base for a S*l*h*s*e* restoration. "Lady owner, dry stored, little used".. it would all be true!

Best regards
Andrew

There were two ads featuring 113's in the same fashion mag issue...one had all the MB symbols, model number, etc removed or hidden...the other car showed it all.

My guess was that the show off car advert might have to pay a license fee to MB while the stripped car does not.
