Title: Where to splice into the 4 parking lights?
Post by: awolff280sl on November 26, 2012, 22:51:39
I am installing a central door locking system which uses a relay to flash the headlights upon locking and unlocking. Can someone give me an idea or two as to where I can (conveniently) splice into the leads to the 4 parking lights, i.e. under the dash off the light switch, fuse box, etc. Thanks

In the UK it is more common to flash the direction indicator lights. There is a connector behind or just above the kick panel on
the passenger side (RHD car) where the loom for the rear lights is.

thanks Larry and/or Norma. I am familiar with the plug connection for the rear light wiring harness, and flashing the direction indicator lights would be fine. However, I would also want to incorporate the left and right FRONT turn signal lights as well.

The front and rear indicator lights are connected together so tapping into say 'right rear' will also operate 'right front'.
They are electrically connected.

thank you very much
