Title: 123 ignition
Post by: cyrilehandley on April 20, 2013, 07:06:09
I know that there are quite a few threads on this subject but I am still a little confused. In the notes section there is talk of replacing the spring on the shaft but no explanation as to why or the consequence of not changing it. Can anyone enlighten me?

My experience: did not change the spring and have not noticed any issues as a result.

Here's my story:

I sent an E-Mail to Leen, where I purchased the 123 unit, and they confirmed “use original spring”.   My 123 distributor had no spring with it, so I left my old spring down inside the housing, and the 123 fit over it as I slid the 123 into position.
