Title: Injector Line clamping order
Post by: jedwards on August 15, 2013, 11:38:31
Gentlemen,
I removed my injector lines for cleaning and plating but took too little attention to the correct order and stacking of the lines as they clamp to the font of the motor.
The order appears to be that line 1 (front-most on injector pump and cylinder 6 injector line) should be secured as the lowest line in the front-most or outer clamp. Line 2 then sits above that as does line 3.  Then line 4 becomes the inner lowest and so on.
Can someone verify this clamping order and stacking arrangement?

Took these pictures when stripping mine...have not put them together again yet.
Noticed the pipes are not stacked on top of each other but in a staggered row held apart by the plastic spacers in the clamps.  hope this helps

The lines wrap around the engine in two columns and seperated by plastic spacers and tied together with the metal bars, screws and nuts.

The outermost column is 4,5 and 6. The innermost column is 1,2 and 3. I don't remember which is on top but is pretty obvious when you hook it up. The fittings on the pump go 6-1 going from front to back.

I hope this helps.
