Hi

Just installed a HotSpark kit on my 1970 280SL, but now my rev counter is not working.. Any advice on how to fix that ?

That is strange, as on a W113 the rev counter is cable driven. If your car has been fitted with another rev counter, or if your car is not a W113 (say a late w111 coupe for example), then it is possible. There are ways to sort it out but I would need to know more about the rev counter you have and the type of ignition you had before installing the new one.

I have the Hot spark in an 009 distributor in my 1971 280SL.
No problem with the tachometer.

There is a correction if you have a signal style tach, not a cable driven tach:
