Hi,
 Does anyone know where I could purchase a VDO washer bag w/brass grommets for my 250SL? They may not be available but I sure would like to get one if they are.

Jim,
I've just removed one from my 280SL and replaced it with the VDO plastic bottle. It looks identical to the one the Alfa used, available here:

I believe the yellow bags are incorrect and are for the 190SL.

  A much earlier post indicated that there was no longer the nylon ones that had the brass rings fitted and suggested that the brass rings/eyelets to fit the replacement nylon bags can be purchased from most reputable upholsterers or on ebay and the pressing tool is relatively cheap to fit them to the bag.

Thanks for the help! I ended up going to a local marine upholstery shop (as suggested) and they installed the brass grommets for $10.00 which I thought was a good deal.
