I had to purchase two Bosch wirw sets, because the #1 plug wire socket is at a 90 degree angle and is a resistor socket.  I used the #2 wire from second set to replace the #1 wire, to give it the correct look and to replace the resistor.

This Bosch set: https://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?sid=a3rbmt45rn302j55rxqajt55&partnumber=09023
is a very good value but it looks like the #1 wire has a 90 degree connector on the spark plug end (it should be straight), but if you have a 280SL then the connectors on the distributor end should all be 90 degree.
