Title: Fuel pump & tranny fluid

Questions about a '64 230SL 1. Should the electric fuel have a baffle box around it like the 111 bodies(250SE etc)?  2. What goes in a 4 speed manual tranny?  Thanx

1.  Yes, often discussed here.  Two types, early for early "large" fuel pump, and later for later "small" fuel pump.  The small fuel pump was introduced on the 280 SLs, but was also the replacement pump for the large one, so you could have either.  Try searching on fuel pump shield and similar.

2.  Automatic Transmission Fluid goes in the 4-speed.
