Title: Gauge of wire to fuel pump

I just installed a new short fuel pump on my 1967 250sl but the electrical wires leading to it are not long enough so I need to lengthen them.

Anyone know the gauge of the electrical wires running the fuel pump?

The fuel pump wires are 2,5 mm/sq or 10 gauge AWG.
