Title: Fuel Gauge Sender Unit, 230SL 1964

Hi,

I am new to this forum and are currently restoring a 230SL from 1964.

I have a question about the fuel gauge sender unit. It does not work on my car, and Mercedes does not carry it in stock any longer. It seems to be one version on the earlier cars (like mine) and Another model on newer version.

My first question is if anyone knows how to buy the older version? If it is not possible - do anyone know if it is possible to convert the newer versions sender unit? For exemple this https://www.niemoeller.de/w113-en/B042-473-D-47-028-sender-unit--fuel-gauge.html
