Title: 123 distributor question advance vs retard???

Hi guys
have a 1970 with stock 051
purchased a 123 distributor . on the instructions there are many curves to chose from but all relate to advance at 2000 and 3000 rpm
my 051 should retard at 2000 and 3000 rpm not advance
how do I set this up???

Shawn,
if you look at the instructions: http://www.123ignition.nl/downloads/manuals/123MER6.pdf
it shows that you should select curve 8 for Bosch distributor 0231 116 051.
Did you try this?
I am thinking of going that way too and would like to benefit from your trials.  ;)

What I don't understand with this distributor in the spec sheet for over 51 it shows retard at 3000 RPM on the instructions of the 123 it says advance at 3000 RPM
