Might be worthwhile for some of the folks in Europe to investigate restoration prices in Poland. I know someone in Switzerland who outsourced a restoration job to eastern Germany. Far better labor rate and excellent craftsmanship.

I had one restored in Poland about 25 years ago.
You are right, can't beat the labor rate & craftmanship.
Back then they didn't have the paint in the country so I had to send it to them. Great experience.

Certainly Countries with lower labour rates can reduce costs significantly !
