Title: Speedo and Tach Needles Bouncing at Low Speeds or Idle
Post by: indy_nate8 on September 01, 2016, 16:13:19
Have a 1971 280SL, the tach and speedo are bouncing at idle or lower speeds then are smoother as I increase speeds. Any suggestions before I replace the cables?

Lube and cables didn't really help.  I sent my tach and speedo to speedometer.com and the needles smoothed out.  Does your tach "howl" when it gets below 45 degrees?
