Title: Hard top resoration
Post by: RAY on September 08, 2016, 17:49:42
Hi all, did Gernolds hardtop restoration article ever get translated and put on our site anywhere or can anyone send me a copy in English please.
I particularly need to know the exact position of where to drill the holes for the garnish strips.
Thanks

Thanks Jonny, yes this looks like the one but i seem to remember reading somewhere that Gernold had written information for fixing the garnish strips to a roof that previously did not have them.
I have just purchased a set in anticipation of finding a ski rack and want to fit the garnish strips as part of a total refurb of the top.
Cheers

Ray,
I would reach out to Gernold directly @ http://www.sltechw113.com
I spoke to him a few times and he was very helpful.

There is another w113 expert that has a very informative picture video that may be of help:

Ask for Michael

Steven
