Title: Early 220SEB fuel injection linkage adjustment
Post by: perry113 on September 24, 2016, 20:40:35
Does the fuel injection linkage rod from the control rod to injection pump on the early style intake manifold on a 220SEB supposed to be 233 mm in length like a 230SL or do you base the length of the venture rod by centering the position of the control rod to the hole cast into the intake manifold?

Just trying to do the final sort out on my 63 220SEB

Many Thanks

Peter

It may be the same but I would start with the alignment hole on the intake manifold. Do you have the straight pipes on your intake manifold?

Yes I believe so. The Intake manifold is the earlier style that is longer and taller.

Go with the casting hole if that's case. It's better than guessing at any rate.
