Title: M127 injector fuel line leak
Post by: Charles 230SL on November 06, 2016, 22:55:56
My number 6 injector fuel line is leaking and I'm about to order a new line. I'm fairly sure that the fuel line part numbers are numbered consecutively, beginning with number 1 (127-070-12-33), and ending with number 6 (127-070-17-33).
Before I order a new injector line I'd like to confirm one more time that 127-070-17-33 is the correct MB part number for injector line #6 (injector 6 is closest to the firewall).  Can anyone confirm? thanks,,,charles

Just checked the big parts book

127 070 17 33 listed as:
Delivery line (for 6th cylinder)

Is it leaking at the fitting or is it leaking at the gland nut?

It's leaking at the 17mm fitting. I could probably tighten it a bit more to stop the leak,, I'm just not comfortable tightening it beyond specs. thanks,,charles

Try using some grease on the fitting compression surfaces before tightening. It helps things slide together smoothly and tightly,  without binding or gaulding.
