My five original rims are 6Jx14H2 manufactured by Sudrad in 1/69 as per photograph below. I recently bought a used 6Jx14H rim manufactured by KPZ for a use as a spare. The KPZ rim is stamped with the same part number (108 400 00 02) and was manufactured in 7/70. I could not find KPZ rims mentioned in our technical manual nor did they turn up in a forum search. I assume the origin of the KPZ rim must have been another MB model of the period, possibly a W108 or W109.
Were KPZ rims ever supplied on the W113?

Hello Ralph,
yes they were, you can relax. ;)
Attached is a page from the 1969 Technical Data Handbook that should answer all your questions.
KPZ is the abbreviation for Kronprinz. The company still exists and here is its history:

Thanks Alfred, I had located the background on Kronprinz but had not been able to tie KPZ to our cars.
Now to get it blasted and painted for service.
Hope all is well with you,
Regards
