Title: Automatic gearbox heating 280 sl

Does anyone knows why 280 sl has hose under the radiator with gearbox fluid. Is this for pre heating.

But water from radiator doesn't go throw this  hose

Correct. In your radiator there is another small "radiator" only for the transmission fluid. The hydraulic fluid is separate from the coolant. Instead of having a separate radiator for cooling the hydraulic fluid they incorporated it in the coolant radiator. It is a method for cooling both system used to this day.
