Good afternoon everyone, I have just signed up.. I am looking for the rear Boot area floor covering and Spare Wheel cover for a 1966 Mercedes Pagoda. Could anyone also recommend a good soft top fitting company. I wish to keep the car Original. The car has a black Soft Top and I think its from new, but is there any way of checking that the car left the factory with a black Soft Top.

Welcome to the group Paulo. In the Technical Manual you will find a Suppliers list which may be helpful in finding some of the items you are looking for. I am sure some of our UK members will be able to offer local suggestions for specific items based on their experience.
If you have the data card related to your vehicle you will be able to determine the soft top color as well as many other particulars on your car as manufactured. Start by reading the section on data cards in the Technical Manual.
If you did not receive a copy of the relevant data card with your car you can obtain a copy from the Mercedes Benz Classic Center in California by sending an email to thomas.hanson@mbusa.com along with the VIN number of your car and proof of ownership. A copy of a registration document in your name should work.
Again welcome to the group.

Paulo, one other thought. Your earlier post was under the “For Sale” category. Would have been a better fit under “Wanted to Buy”.

Hello Paulo,
Welcome to the Group. I’ve moved this section to the appropriate area “Wanted to Buy”
I’m sure our members here will provide you pointers as to where you may find what you are looking for. One of the vendors that attends our PUB gettogeters is Bud’s Benz why not e-mail them in the parts area address your e-mail to Dave, he mostly looks after parts.
Best,
Dieter

Paulo,
Here is the Web Page —-> https://www.budsbenz.com/market/1969-280sl
Once the page opens you can,
A) Click on Buy Parts
Select your car model then open any area of interest to view parts blow up drawings & part numbers
B) Scroll down to the bottom of the web page and click on “Contact” it will provide you with an e-mail.
Address your e-mail message to Dave he will let you know if he can help or point you in the right direction.
However, I’ve just noted you are in England. You be better off to contact Colin Ferns Motors in London UK.
His web site is ——-> https://www.colinferns.com
Good luck,
Dieter
