Interesting question in that I don’t recall ever seeing a post. There are several eyelets with rubber insert mounted around the oil pan that the battery cable going to the starter threads through. I have one eyelet a little different than the others and instead of having a hole to mount through to the pan, it appears as though it mounts on the sheet metal somewhere in the engine compartment?
So where do all of these mount?
Thanks,
Harry

Closest to the battery is the one that clips onto the battery tray. I will see if I have a picture of the rest.

It is the blue one at at the bottom of the battery. Attached to the battery frame.

That's it! Thank you!

Question: is blue the original color for this grommet?

I do not know, I doubt it. But this is what you get from Mercedes today.

The original was black and you can get a suitable replacement from Mercedes: p/n 110 997 0481

Here is the rest. Hard to see the last one just ahead of the engine mount on the engine block to upper pan bolt.
