Hi again all I have a post going on earlier about my car not running well.I am going to do some things that were advised to help me.I do have another question about the distributor in my car.It is a Bosch 0231 116 068 (J1U6) I cannot find any information on this checked bosch classic website and a bunch of different websites the highest number I see is 067.Mine is alum body I believe vac retard.I want to check and make sure I have the proper rotor and cap.Does anybody know where I can find this info
Thanks jm

123 ignition indicates your distributor is applicable to the 280SE

Thanks Jeff I do see it in their list that it will work with the 123 system. But I still have the transistor system.Unfortunately they also don't have the parts list to tell me if I have the correct rotor or cap

The Bosch electronic on-line archives are not working for some time, I just looked. I think you can find a nearby Bosch dealer and they will tell you the part number.

As a heads up if you use the W113 distributor number 062 you will not get the correct cap and rotor. It is a glitch in the Bosch system. I would use the 067 number. I am sure you will get the right stuff.

Thanks I will try the 067 number
