Post by: CJHenderson on July 19, 2020, 15:10:51
While cleaning the threaded bushing, found these objects in two of the threaded bushings for the upper wishbone. Is this normal?

I would say not !

Are you talking about the outer side of the wishbone i.e. the kingpin end?

No, it's mounting to the crossover frame

Ah, those are special parts; only available in the less salubrious corners of the back street garages.
There name is "lash-up rings". Manufactured in a matter of seconds from an old coat hanger by unskilled fitters to compensate for excessive free-play in the wishbones that might otherwise require the competence of a skilled engineer to rectify........
