With the rust so bad we had a choice of scrapping or restoring our beloved Pagoda. There was only one, if expensive, choice.

The other picture that didn’t attach!

Beautiful color, wonderful depth to it. Looks almost iridescent.
Congratulations, and well done for saving a beautiful car.
Hope you enjoy it for many tears.

Thank you. It was red when I bought it 16 years ago but we discovered this metallic Moss Green under the VIN plate. A history check with Mercedes confirmed that was the original colour so we put it back as original.
Only a shame that it came back at the end of the summer and left us only a few opportunities to drive in dry conditions.

There are a couple of moss green W113s in my area, a beautiful color and yours is very nicely done.

Thanks. We were a little nervous about the colour until we finally saw the finished article. We are really pleased with it. We’d not seen a moss green pagoda before although did see a 600 Grosser Limousine in this colour at the London Classic Car Show a couple of years ago.

WOW! The green is beautiful! And I love the interior, Parchment I presume?

Wonderful...who did the work,if you don’t mind my asking?

Great job on the restoration and the detective work done in finding the original colour. Restoring back to the original colour created a most lovely Green Pagoda. I had also discovered my car was repainted from White to Signal Red, not a colour I would have chosen for a repaint.

This is a beautiful restoration job. I’m certain you are very proud. Going back to the original color combination was a real winner. The jewel tone of the exterior is only made more dramatic with that light interior. Absolutely breathtaking!
