Title: "Rarely Ordered" Code 326
Post by: German Dude on April 06, 2005, 01:11:57
I know there have been a lot of good sources regarding code identification, but after checking them all I have to come to the conclusion that my 230SL came equipped with a taxi partition with sliding window (code 326).

But, thank God, this is the option code for 1968-1970. Does anybody know what the code denoted prior to 1968?

As always, thanks. It will be the last mystery on the data card to be unveiled.

I have dealer code 513 on my data card. That should be Belgium. However, I was told by the second owner that the first owner was mijnheer van de Perk in Leiden, Netherlands. Hard to believe a guy from Leiden had to go to Belgium to get a Pagoda...

Auftragsnummer on the data card is 45130797

Thanks,

"513" indicates a car sold in Belgium, correct.
A useful web page for M-B dealer codes is the Veterans page:
