Title: Frigiking AC Vent
Post by: LA 280SL on November 11, 2020, 06:37:59
I have begun taking inventory of this Pagoda.  The forum pages and the Technical Manual have been invaluable.

One item missing is the AC vent to the most right position, passenger right knee.

I have not been able to source this part with any of the parts suppliers I have reviewed, nor the Frigiking site.

I’m hoping it is available and I have missed it or not yet found the supplier(s).

Thank you in advance.

Is this what you are looking for? The right and left wheel are the same.
I have one, but it is in Europe.
PM me if you are interested.

If you do an eBay search for "Frigiking" you will find that the company made universal AC kits to fit many different cars. The vents used in different kits look similar or the same as what they provided for the W113. Chances are whatever you find, replating and refinishing will likely be needed. That has been discussed on these forums.

Thank you Frank.

I’ll go back to the Frigiking products with a more creative eye than jus glooming for a specific model.

Check out Shvegel's post #2 here - https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=31311.0 (https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=31311.0)
He refers to 1970 Ford F-100 UNDERDASH units for replacement grilles

In Ford parlance a "Hang On" air conditioner.  I believe 70-72 F-100.
