Title: Looking for soft top frame piece 280SL

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post on this forum. I am the proud new owner of a 1967 280SL. I'm going to be fully restoring this car.
I am missing one piece for the soft top frame. previous owner took it apart himself and lost one piece to it.
Its the Bar that latches the soft top at the back.
I will attach a picture of the piece I need.
In the picture its the bar I'm pointing to with my pen.
If anyone has this piece let me know I am interested in buying it.
I don't want to buy a whole soft top frame because I have all the other pieces to it and they are in great shape.

Suggest you try Gernold at SLTech In Maine.  He may be able to supply the part.

Emailed him yesterday. He replied to my first email saying the piece I'm missing is called a rear Bow and he wanted to know if I'm missing the arms that attach it to the frame. I replied to his email and he has yet to reply back to me.
I hope he will be able to supply it.
Hopefully someone here can reply as well with an idea of where to find a rear bow.

Ok update, I got the Missing rear bow from Gernold at SLtech. It was the last rear bow he had. He also sold me new arms that attach the bow to the frame. I called around everywhere for the rear bow nobody could find me one. I got quite lucky Gernold had one.
