I’m coming pretty close to the front axle brakes restoration and I would like to experiment a bit here. Since the hardline connection to the brake calliper is NLA in original parts I may as well take a shot at fixing it. I already have few ideas but I need some donor parts to experiment on. Therefore I ask if any of you have some of those lines that are damaged and no longer usable, please donate them to the experiment.
They can be shipped to Canada or my box in NY. Whatever is convenient for you.
I attached the pic of the part. Thank you in advance.

Hi Mark,
Not sure what exactly you are looking for, but you can still find them.

Pretty sure the ones from Vintage Euro are used. I bought a pair of the last few new ones and they were yellow zinc plated.
One probably shouldn't "Experiment" with brakes. I would suggest reaching out to PMB brakes and see if they would be willing to attempt a repair. They are set up to properly pressure test any repair after it is done and they seem to like to take on new challenges. Basically, you need the line removed and a new line brazed in place. I am pretty good in that department but without being able to pressure test my work I wasn't going to take it on. More than anything I was worried what the heat would do to the tube.

I thought my request was clear,

Absolutely, that was never my intention.

I’m able to pressure test the lines up to 5000psi. I would like to establish a process of correctly repairing those pieces. $200 a pop for the new piece to experiment for 2min with the torch sounds awful expensive.

Hi Mark,
I have a used one that you are welcome to. Only thing wrong with it is that the threads on the male fitting are stripped. You might even be able to cut the flare, remove and replace the fitting and be good to go but that's up to you. If you PM me your address (preferably box in NY) I will send it along. It has no value to me at this point. Lee

Starting to see shops buying up the last few of something then raising the price dramatically. Someone had a new wiper speed relay offered for $750.
-
I have some new old stock left, with the cadmium plating still good. $95 each
-
Do you still have some of these? If so, I really need a right side one.
Thank you!

Sorry they are all gone, they all sold immediately.

Thanks so much-I appreciate the response!
