I'm the newest member of the SL 113 club.
I'm a British/lebanese and I jusy reached retirement age.
So what better to do than get a few toys and enjoying the rest of my days living in Merc heaven.
I have a 1963 230 Sl in Lebanon and just bought myself a 1963 W111 in the Uk, which I will be shipping to Lebanon in a few days.
My question is: Does anyone know of a good restoration workshop and is the Mercedes dealership over there helpfull?
Waiting for some replies and promising to stay in touch.
I love this site.

Hello GC - welcome!. One of the members here is Malek Mrowa ("Mal"), and he resides in Lebanon, restored his car as well as a 190 SL. Maybe he can recommend a good shop to you. Search the member directory and send him an email if he does not spot your question here.
There are indeed few things more fun than tinkering with a Pagoda and, even more fun, tooling around in it in the kind of climate you enjoy.
