Hi all,
I might be in Germany in the next few weeks and its time to go part shopping for some bargains (if they exist). Does anyone know of any good sources of parts in Germany (apart from MB)?
I need hardtop and soft top rubber, a new softtop, king pin kits, and potentially parts to prepare for an engine and IP pump rebuild. Also - does anyone know of any parts that are only available from Germany?
thanks,
Paul.

Try SLS in Hamburg. Website:http://sls.sparebase.de/start/index.phtml
They speak English and are very efficient to deal with.

As far as I know all parts available here should also be available elsewhere in the world.
Engine parts may be cheaper in the US, where there may be 'lagging stocks' around (on which price increases from DC have not been added yet).
An IP rebuild has to be done by a properly equipped shop / specialist, who will put in whatever parts are required when he rebuilds the pump. Not sure you can even buy parts for the pump 'loose'.
Maybe check with DC first for what you need, then shop around from a few other vendors Rodd listed.
Good luck!
