Title: Need a rebuildable head for 1971 280 SL (motor is 280 SE)

Hi everyone,
I brought my car in to have the head rebuilt, but the mechanic has determined that it is not rebuildable.
Here is where it gets a little confusing. My father bought this car in 1981. I bought it for him in 1997.
IN doing the research, it appears my father swapped out the motor, and the current motor is actually from a 280 SE.
The engine number is 130 980-12-048789. The head number is 130 016 32 01
I'm hoping someone may have a rebuildable head.
