Sorry for the flurry of posts, but after having just gotten my 230SL back from nearly 3 years of mechanical surgery, I decided to go through the brochures, tags and paperwork that came with the car. I'm curious as to whether or not these items are unique or still very common. Photos are attached. Thanks.

I think it's a lovely collection and not terribly common. I hope it will continue to be preserved with the car. The next caretaker will love seeing them when they receive the car.
As to value? That depends on your perspective.

Nice collection.

Beautiful John. Irreplaceable stuff. Only adds to the fun.

What are break miles? I've never heard of that. Like "break-in" on a new car? Or did you mean "brake miles" (spelling) like brake horsepower?

Zak, on the engine rebuild, or the new car? ;D ;D

John,
A very nice collection of literature.
While not common, most of the items pictured are findable with some patience. The most difficult would be the original window sticker. You would either have that or not. The Kundendiest/Service tag is quite rare.

Over the years I've found some very nice W113 sales brochures and color chip brochures. Still have a few. Back in the day they were reasonable if you could find them.

I especially like the window sticker and data cards 8)

Courtesy of Alpina. ;D ;D. My original data card was in poor shape. Hard to read. Alpina does incredible work with making old back to new!! Highly recommend for getting "new" copies of your data card and window sticker.
