Title: Do wires connect to this?

Could anyone advise what this is for? It looks to me that some wires should connect here. Am I correct? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,
Looks like the throttle switch, controls the Double Acting Solenoid located on top the automatic transmission.

Thank you for the quick response.  My car is a manual transmission, so that makes sense. Appreciate the help.

Hi,
So if your car has a manuel transmission you don't need this switch.
Maybe your throttle comes from a car with automatic transmission.

What's your VIN? Maybe you engine number would help?  People should know for what equipment they are giving advice.
