So I purchased a new spare r11 pump for my 230 and almost got done installing it on the car. The issue is the air fitting next to the air filter on the WRD air valve housing is different between the pumps! Anyone know off hand what the different sizes might be? I measured the minor diameter of the new one to be about 12.4mm-ish. Based on that my guess is it’s an m14x1.5 but if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be A+!!

That's a lot of "air" parts. Can you post a pic, your own or one from the internet?

For the eternally curious I have an answer. It is a 14x1.5mm din fitting. The Mercedes fitting on my old pump appears to be a tube adapter and has a support provision where a tube compression fitting would go. I used a stepped din union instead and it seems to work fine! Here is a picture of the fitting I’m talking about.
