Hello I have a problem geting new pistons for 230 sl. it has to be 3 generation of pistons whit 25mm pin and size 83mm.
does anybody know where to buy?

I rebuilt the engine on my 230SL a couple of years ago and bought the pistons from the Classic Center.  1st and 2nd oversize were available but the 1st OS were more expensive.

3rd generation 230SL pistons are often stepped and low compression - max 150 PSI.

If you get early pistons you will need connecting rods to match the pistons but it's what I would do.

The MB number for Gen 3       83mm is 180 030 71 18 always easier to find using the number . Good Luck
