Hello, thanks for allowing me to join this site. I am unsure if I am posting this correctly, or in the correct place on the site. Please bear with me if I have erred. My 94 year old friend had an early 1960s 250SL. He thinks 1962 or 1963 but he is getting up in years and his mind is a bit cloudy. He sold the car many many years ago, however, for some reason he still had the original tool kit. I now have it and I am wondering if this is a sought after item for a restorer. And, if so, what would be a $ range for something like this, and could it be listed for sale on this site? I looked on Ebay and saw one like the one that I have. I was rather surprised by the $ listed for it. However, I understand that things listed on Ebay are not always accurate. Here is a photo of the tool kit.

a couple of missing tools and wrong hazet 767 spark plug wrench, but bag looks good. if it was a 63, it would be a 230SL, not 250. The diamond jaw on the Heyco 300 water pump pliers show id to be pre-67 or 8.
see what you can get? But you do need to post a asking price if you post it here.
