Title: Rear side markers with one plug part 2

The mystery of why I had the rear side lights had male plugs and the wiring harness had only one female plug was solved, is that on my right taillight there was a female plug added to the right taillight plug. Is that normal if so, the new wiring harness is missing that feature.
