Hi I just purchased a 1966 230sl and am trying to figure out the interior colour code.I have attached a photo of the data plate any help would be appreciated thank you Anthony.

The only place you'll find details of the interior upholstery is from the original bill of sale, purchase order or the data card. If you don't have the data card, copies can be bought, these used to be available from the classic centres, but this may have changed to the dealerships, perhaps make an enquiry to your local dealer, or someone else may comment if they have obtained one recently

With the 040 exterior code, Schwarz, unfortunately, there were several combinations of interior that was coded for this color. Will need your data card. Bob
