Title: Door Ajar Light

Am I reading the tech manual correctly about the door ajar light on 230's?  Reading about other things I am working on I keep see the the door ajar light does not apply to 230's?  is that right that it is not active on a 230?

There is no door ajar indicator on a 230sl.

Cool.  But the under dash light should come on correct?  Obviously mine does not.  The light works but not to the doors.  Want to chase that wire before I wrap all my wires up again.

Yes.  I have a '66 as well, and (with the switch in the correct position) the under-dash light comes on when either door is opened.

Does light come on when you move the switch to position 1?

Yea Position 1 Works.   I am going to play with it today while I try and figure out the wiring on my Fuel Sender.
