Title: Refurbished 1:3.92 or 1:4.08 rear axle assembly, disc-to-disc for 250sl

For our early 250sl I am planning to change the 4-speed manual to a rebuilt 5-speed Getrag 265.  At some point someone changed the rear axle to one with drum brakes, which is incorrect for the car.  A 1:3.92, or a 1:4.08 rear axle assembly disc-to-disc, possibly refurbished would be great to find for this project.  The car is in the U.S. in McCalla, AL. I have a 4.08 entire axle from a 1969 280sl but I am in Chicagoland so I think shipping would be $$$. BOB 630 903 9877
